Packet Pickup/Health & Fitness Expo

To kick off the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend, the Health & Fitness Expo takes over downtown Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania Convention Center for two days during race weekend. With vendors showcasing the newest running apparel, shoes and accessories, distributing product samples, and offering tips on health and fitness, the Expo is a valuable event for all runners, whether seasoned and serious or just starting out.

The Expo, which is free, offers much more than the basics. This is the place to purchase official Philadelphia Marathon Weekend merchandise (while supplies last), and check out innovative products and ideas in the worlds of running, fitness and nutrition.

From out of town? The Expo is also the place to get more information about Philadelphia attractions, restaurants and activities. We hope your visit includes a solid race and an exploration of one of America's most vibrant and visitor-friendly cities.

There are several parking garages within a four-block radius of the Pennsylvania Convention Center. It is also easily accessible to numerous SEPTA bus and train stops. Call (215) 580-7800 for information about routes and schedules.

Bib Transfers

As noted in the waiver that you accepted during registration, bibs are non-transferable and names will not be changed from one person to another. This includes registrations purchased through online networks which will NOT be transferred to another name.

Your bib provides race staff with important identifying information for the purposes of our medical program, as well as scoring and timing. Transferring the bib would compromise these processes severely.

Violation of this rule may prohibit you from participation in future Philadelphia Marathon Weekend events and will disqualify you from awards and prize monies. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with these policies.

Switching Events/Distance

All runners are expected to participate in the event for which they are officially registered. Bib numbers and t-shirts will be issued according to your registered event. If you requested an official change of event before the November 7th deadline and it is not reflected in this confirmation email, please bring a copy of any email correspondence that supports your timely request to the Solution Center in the registration area, where your request will be reviewed.

Need to Run a Shorter Distance?

If you decide to run a shorter distance on Race Weekend, you can wear the bib for your registered event to participate in that shorter event. You WILL be scored, listed in the official results and receive a finisher medal for the shorter event.

Please be aware that the Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon and Rothman Orthopaedics 8K occur on Saturday, November 19, while the AACR Philadelphia marathon occurs on Sunday, November 20.

Want to Run A Longer Distance?

Runners who run a distance longer than the one for which they are officially registered WILL NOT be timed and scored and * WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE * for awards at the longer distance.

Runners will be permitted to officially change to a * LONGER * event at the Solution Center if space is available.

Runners who are already registered for two or three separate events can be transferred into the appropriate Challenge event.

Please pick up all assigned bibs and bring them to the Solution Center for assistance.

Bring your new and gently used shoes to the packet pickup/health and fitness expo to donate to Ukrainian refugees.

The Philadelphia Marathon Weekend is pleased to partner with local community recycling organizations to collect your new and gently used shoes.

Place your new or gently used shoes (running, casual, dress, adult, kids) in the shoe collection bins near the bib pick up area.

Shoes will be shipped to Hungary and Poland to help with the Ukrainian refugee crisis and will also be kept out of our local landfills. As an added bonus, a donation will be made to Students Run Philly Style for each pair of shoes donated.

Thank you for your support in helping those in need and protecting the environment.
