Additionally, the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend partners with its fiscal sponsor, the Philadelphia City Fund, to allocate a portion of its revenue for grantmaking to support the Philadelphia community each year.
Through its Community Fund, PCF invests those proceeds in charitable projects that improve the quality of life for our residents. Learn more about grant opportunities through PCF’s Community Fund.

Project Purple
Project Purple is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the fight against pancreatic cancer. Our commitment is fueled by a mission to raise awareness, drive crucial research, and provide direct aid to patients battling the disease.
Since our founding in 2010, we have led the charge in pioneering advancements and bringing hope to those affected.
To date, Project Purple has invested more than $4 million in research, while our Patient Financial Aid Program has provided over $1.3 million to help 1,500 families with medical and daily living expenses. Together, we are working toward a world without pancreatic cancer.
