THE COURSE

It's a Half Marathon, but it's not half a triumph! Run 13.1 challenging miles through some of the most scenic and historic neighborhoods of Philadelphia. From the history-steeped streets of Olde City, through one of the liveliest stretches of Center City, across the bridge through the campuses of University City, up through the picturesque routes of Fairmount Park, and back down along the Schuylkill River.

The Half Marathon was added to Race Weekend in 2006 and has grown every year since. It has served as the perfect way for first-timers to test the waters of a Marathon experience, and it's a great event for runners just looking for a challenge on a beautiful and scenic course.

The top five male and female finishers in each age group (listed below) will receive awards for their performance.

CASH PRIZES

Cash prizes for the first five male and female finishers of the Half Marathon will be issued as follows:

    $2,500 one male & one female
  • 2nd
    $1,000 one male & one female
  • 3rd
    $500 one male & one female
  • 4th
    $350 one male & one female
  • 5th
    $250 one male & one female
  • 1st Masters
    $500 one male & one female
