We’re looking for individuals and groups to power our Cheer Zones on:

Saturday, November 22 – Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon and Rothman Orthopaedics 8K

Sunday, November 23 – AACR Philadelphia Marathon

Pick one day or two — the more cheer, the better!

Our Cheer Zones are the heartbeat of the race — where the roar of the crowd lifts every runner through the miles. Grab your friends, your voices, and your biggest smiles to help make this year’s event unforgettable.

Note: The Philadelphia Marathon Weekend does not provide compensation for Cheer Zone participation. This is a volunteer opportunity designed to support runners, celebrate community spirit, and provide your group a safe, approved space to cheer along the race course.

⚠️ NEW FOR 2025!
Only pre-approved Cheer Zones will be permitted to set up along the official Philadelphia Marathon Weekend race route.

Unauthorized tents, tables, or setups along the course will be asked to disassemble and disburse for the safety of runners, spectators, and volunteers.

This policy ensures all cheer locations are coordinated, safe, and compliant with city regulations.
