Jared Ward

Born in Mapleton, Utah, Jared Ward married his high school sweetheart and has six children. He served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has a B.S./M.S. in statistics from Brigham Young University -- his thesis was on optimal pace strategy in the marathon.

He has additionally researched biomechanics, recovery, super-shoe performance and energy cost, and additional pacing strategy for marathon performance.

Jared's athletic credentials include six time All American at Brigham Young University, three time USA National Champion, was 6th place in marathon in Rio at the 2016 Olympics. He has run professionally for 10 years.

Workout videos below can help you to understand the details and goals of each training session. It's never too late to start! If you are jumping in part way through, listen to your body. Maybe start with a couple weeks of just one harder session and an extra day or two of rest -- you'll be at 100% in no time!
