Awards and Prize Money

The City of Philadelphia and Philadelphia Marathon Weekend organizers are excited to announce that for the 2024 Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and 8K races will designate prize money and awards for the top finishers in the Open Division across three gender categories (Men’s, Women’s and Nonbinary). 

Open Division prize money and awards are determined by gun time. Corral assignments are designated by finishing times submitted during race registration. 

 The AACR Philadelphia Marathon

Open Division:

1st Place Male, Female and Non-Binary: $4,000 and award
2nd Place Male, Female and Non-Binary: $2,000 and award
3rd Place Male, Female and Non-Binary: $1,000 and award

1st Place Master Male, Female and Non-Binary: $1,000 and award
1st Philadelphian Male, Female and Non-Binary: $1,000 and award
Course Record Male, Female and Non-Binary: $1,000 and award

The Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon

Open Division:

1st Place Male, Female and Non-Binary: $2,500 and award
2nd Place Male, Female and Non-Binary: $1,500 and award
3rd Place Male, Female and Non-Binary: $1,000 and award

1st Place Master Male, Female and Non-Binary: $500 and award
Course Record Male, Female and Non-Binary: $1,000 and award

The Rothman Orthopaedics 8K Run

Open Division:

1st Place Male, Female and Non-Binary: $750 and award
2nd Place Male, Female and Non-Binary: $500 and award
3rd Place Male, Female and Non-Binary: $250 and award

1st Place Master Male, Female and Non-Binary: $250 and award
