Charity Affiliate Program

Thank you for your interest in the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend Charity Affiliate Program. The goal of this program is to assist charitable organizations’ fundraising efforts by providing guaranteed race entries to one of the nation’s top 10 and most anticipated races. In return for providing discounted entries, charities must secure athletes through their organization’s marketing efforts and networks to reach those individuals or teams interested in running to support for your special cause. Limited spots are available in each category. Prospective charities must fit into one or more of the Philadelphia Weekend Marathon’s core initiatives in the following areas:

Children/Youth
Education/Advocacy
Disabilities/Special Needs
Emergency Services/Housing/Anti-Poverty
Healthy Lifestyles
Health Research/Education/Advocacy
Diversity Equity and Inclusion

Participation is renewable on a yearly basis upon committee approval. To be considered, organizations must:

Be registered in the continental United States for a minimum of 3 years
Possess a valid 501 (c)(3) documentation named (Applications without this documentation will not be reviewed)
Provide a Certificate of Insurance for any on-site activation
Have a staff member as the point of contact
Manage organizational webpage with event details and online fundraising platform
Commit to a minimum of 10 registrations (bibs) for fundraising purposes

Charity Affiliate Benefits

Logo posted on Charity Affiliate page on website with description and link to your organization (50 words or less)
Obtain race bibs, Expo booth and finish line tent at a discounted price
Organization logo and summary in the Official Race Guide
Opportunity to include Philadelphia Marathon Weekend logo in approved press releases and advertising
