
Think you’ve got what it takes to run the big race? Register now before November 14. Once you’re registered, you will need to pick up your race packet at the Health & Fitness Expo on Friday, November 21 (from noon until 7:00 p.m.) or Saturday, November 22 (from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.). Race packets will not be mailed and no packets will be distributed on race day.
All runners should be at the starting point at 22nd and Ben Franklin Parkway by 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 23. Drinking water and Porta-Johns will be available at the starting line. Be sure to wear the number given to you in your packet on the front of your shirt.
The course is sanctioned by USA Track & Field. No bicycles, skateboards, scooters, baby joggers, strollers, headphones, roller skates or blades are permitted on the race course during the Marathon, Half Marathon or Rothman Institute 8K.
Digital splits are provided at each mile marker and at the finish line.
Fluid stations are set up throughout the length of the course. Water will be supplied at Race Start and miles: 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.2, 14, 15.5, 18, 19.5, 20.5, 22, 24, and Race Finish. Replacement fluid will be offered along with water, beginning at Mile 5. Additionally, energy gels will be available at miles 18 and 22.
Race Day baggage check will be available at Eakins Oval beginning at 5:30 a.m. and closing at 2 p.m. A lost and found station will be located at Eakins Oval. The Philadelphia Marathon is not responsible for any unclaimed, stolen, or lost items.
